Treatments
Massage
Massage manipulates the soft tissue and muscles of the body, which then stimulates the blood, lymph, muscles and the nerves. Massage can be adapted to suit individual needs, with techniques from deep tissue, Swedish, trigger point, hot stone (Lava Shells) and Aromatherapy, the treatment can be relaxing, stimulating, invigorating or sedative.

A light suction action (chimney effect) and the movement of the flame create a vibration of air in the candle, this generates a massage like effect in the eardrum.

A little bit about myself
After spending years competing at competition level in martial arts and developing a good understanding of the human anatomy, I became ill with a debilitating condition that rendered me bed bound with chronic pain, swelling, constant fatigue and brain fog.

After visiting several doctors, specialists and pain management clinics and being prescribed countless prescription medication I decided to seek an alternative route in holistic and complimentary treatments.
​
This has given me the passion to want to help others suffering with similar conditions. It gives me great pleasure knowing that my treatments have eased my clients pain providing them to have hope and improve their day to day lives.

The treatments offered take training and knowledge. I offer a professional service and have invested heavily in the correct training to provide my clients with the correct techniques to produce maximum effect where needed.

The following Policies and Procedures serve as a guide for first time and existing clients.
Payment for treatment falls due before entering the treatment room.

At Mount Pleasant Massage we take the safety and integrity of our work very seriously.

Any inappropriate language or behaviour towards our staff will result in the treatment being immediately terminated and the client advised to leave the premises.

No refunds will be given for incomplete treatments. Clients behaving inappropriately will not be allowed to return.

​Face masks are optional. We will always work to the current government guidelines.
